Sea Cleaners Piritahi Marae day experience
An experience that will connect you with the waters, the islands and the tangata whenua (hosts) of Auckland’s Waitematā Harbour. Not only will you be making a positive impact to this unique environment, but you will also be able to take with you the insights and learnings of how the Māori care for the land and the ocean (moana).
Your valuable work (or mahi) today involves working with the non-profit Sea Cleaners team, collecting plastic from the water and shorelines of the harbour.
Your morning work will conclude at the picturesque Te Hurihi Bay on Waiheke Island, home of the Piritahi marae.
