The daily hire rate includes the following:
- Unlimited kilometres
- Standard excess insurance cover (Excess $5,000.00)
- diesel fuel tax
- one-way rental fee
- second driver fee
- cleaning fee
- living equipment
- full gas bottle(s) and fuel water tank
- nationwide road-side service
- Freephone helpline
- extensive travel information pack
- Free transfers between depot and Airport or City Hotel with the KEA bus
- 12.5% GST
The daily hire rates are:
- Calculated on a per calendar day basis
- Quoted in New Zealand Dollars
- Subject to change without notice
- Subject to a minimum rental period 5 days
- Subject to the Kea Campers2008/2009 Terms and Conditions.
All vehicles are insured for the damage to the vehicle or to the property of a third party. For motorhomes the hirer is responsible for the first NZ$5,000.00 ('the excess') of the cost of the damage to the third party property or rented vehicle. This excess can be reduced by the purchase of Excess reduction option 1 or 2.

| SAVE MONEY WITH THE "ALL INCLUSIVE RATES" |
In addition to the actual hire of the motorhome itself, there are several other important items that you will need to purchase that are not included in the daily hire rates. By purchasing the "All Inclusive Rates" you will save money on some of these items.
The Inclusive component of NZ$50.00 per day is payable in addition to the daily hire rate. Included in this package is the following:
- Excess Reduction Option 2 - Normally priced at NZ$35.00 per day (See above for more information on motorhome insurance).
Multiple replacements and repairs of windsreens and tyres
- 1 x Table - Normally priced at NZ$20.00 per table.
- 2 x Chairs - Normally priced at NZ$20.00 per chair, per rental.
- 1 x Baby seat - Normally priced at NZ$25.00 per seat, per rental. This must be pre-booked.
- 1 x Beach Umbrella - Normally priced at NZ$20.00 per seat, per rental.
It is strongly advised that you pre-book all of the following items for hire. Experience NZ Travel requires that you pay the cost for these items directly to Kea Rentals on collection of your vehicle.
- Picnic Table - NZ$20.00 per rental
- Picnic Chair - NZ$20.00 per rental
- Picnic Umbrella - NZ$20.00 per rental
- Baby or booster seat - NZ$20.00 per rental
- Mobile phone - no rental fee, only phone costs
- Phone card - on request
Kea Campers have no one way fees.
Kea Campers diesel fuel tax is included already included in the rates.
Diesel in New Zealand is priced at approximately NZ$1.20 per litre.
Pick up and Drop off fees
Kea Campers pick up and drop fees are included in the rates.
